I've been thinking about adding Jeju Island (제주도) onto my list of things to do on my upcoming trip to Korea. I think it's gonna set me back a bit of my savings, but it just looks so beautiful and tropical that I think it'd be worth a short visit. Flights from Seoul Gimpo to Jeju airport seem crazy cheap, so it wouldn't be travellng there that would be money-consuming. But the island seems to be aimed at the tourists during the peak period (when I'd be going), so the accomodation would more than likely be very expensive. It won't be my one and only oppurtunity to go to Korea so if I don't get to Jeju on my first trip, I'm sure I can do it on the next. My trip is 6 months away and I need to save up for my Tokyo part of the holiday. Should probably look for another job, then!
